Gentle AQHA Dash for Cash Gelding with mountain experience |
||||||||||||
Dash for Cash geldings are a sought-after commodity, especially those that haven’t been ground into the dirt on the barrel racing circuit. Walt is the perfect age to go to work as a ranch horse, trail horse, or even as a rope horse candidate. He’s got the size and the attitude to do the job for you. Walt spent a season in the mountains in Marble, so he’s familiar with the high country and the backwoods. He’s gentle, calm, and easy to handle. He stands quietly for tacking and grooming, and he’s mellow to be around. We can walk right up to him in a 50-acre pasture, and he’s easy to catch. This is also a good-looking gelding. He has that appendix quarter horse build where he’s a little taller and rangier than most quarter horses. At 15.3 hands, he’s got good size. He has good withers to hold a saddle and a nice head. Walt has an old wire cut on his right front pastern, but it does not affect his range of movement. He is completely sound. Walt also has really good hard feet. Doris has been working on natural hoof care on all our horses, and he’s been barefoot for over a year. He has a nice thick hoof wall and sole, with good calluses, so he can take it on natural footing. This would be a nice candidate as a ranch horse or trail horse. He can cover the country and will have good endurance. Walt’s sale price:$5,500
