Beautiful chestnut Missouri foxtrotter mare—super sweet, very gentle, nice trail horse $3,000

Beautiful chestnut mare, very gentle, super sweet, nicely gaited

This is the sweet Missouri foxtrotter mare that everyone is looking for. Foaled June 24, 1997, “Dixie’s Moon Glow” (#97-56971) is out of Pierson Creek bloodlines. We call her Holly, because we already have a Dixie.

1997 registered Missouri Foxtrotter mare
Holly is a Colorado horse who was broke as a two-year-old and ridden as a three-year-old, then was used as a broodmare for a couple of years, when she delivered nice foals. She hasn’t had many miles on her for her age. She’s got a pretty head, a nice copper penny color, and a good conformation. She is naturally gaited.

Holly is easy to load, shoe, and handle, and is very gentle. She’s sound all the way around. As of the autumn of 2007, we started saddling her up and bringing her into the mountains again.

Mare super sweet, nicely gaited
We see her as a sensible horse that is going to do the right thing. She’s very steady, not nervous or flighty at all, and she’s that awesome gentle, calm, dependable trail horse that everyone is looking for. Holly has the beautiful gait that has made foxtrotters famous as comfortable trail horses. This is the kind of horse that you’ll enjoy owning. She is easy to catch, stands super quiet, doesn’t get real excited about things, and she likes people.
And by the way, she’s great-looking!
